Parce que l’orientation est un chemin parfois semé de doutes, le droit à l’erreur permet à chaque élève de reconsidérer son affectation en début de parcours. Il s’agit d’une possibilité offerte aux élèves de 2de BAC PRO et de 1re année de CAP, afin de mieux répondre à leurs aspirations et besoins.
Tu as un doute sur ton orientation ? Tu peux bénéficier de cette procédure de réaffectation, mais attention : tu as jusqu’au 7 novembre pour te rapprocher de ton professeur principal accompagnée d’une lettre signée de tes représentants légaux.
PROCÉDURE 2025-2026
L’élève sera reçu par le professeur principal, la PsyEN et des membres de l’équipe pédagogique pour examiner sa situation.
La demande sera ensuite transmise au proviseur, qui étudiera les possibilités de réaffectation :
- au sein du lycée (si des places sont disponibles)
- dans un autre établissement du bassin
- ou dans un lycée de l’Académie, en accord avec le chef d’établissement d’accueil

Because choosing a career path can be challenging, the right to make a mistake allows students to reconsider their assignment early in their journey. This opportunity, offered by the French Ministry of National Education, is available to students in 2de BAC PRO) and 1CAP programs who feel unsatisfied with their current orientation.
Deadline for requests: November 7, 2025
Students must inform their homeroom teacher and submit a letter signed by their legal guardians.
The student will be received by the homeroom teacher, the school psychologist (PsyEN), and other members of the educational team to review their situation and needs.
The request will then be forwarded to the principal, who will explore possible reassignment options:
- within the current school (if vacant spots are available)
- in another school within the local district
- or in a school elsewhere in the Academy, with the agreement of the receiving principal
