Madras flamboyant, coiffures afro stylées, sourires éclatants… tout était réuni pour une journée inoubliable. Entre musique, rires et moments insolites, la communauté scolaire a partagé un bonheur contagieux.
On Thursday, November 20, 2025, our high school resonated with the rhythm of a reimagined traditional dress. Vibrant Madras fabrics, stylish Afro hairstyles, radiant smiles… everything came together for an unforgettable day. Between music, laughter, and unexpected moments, the school community shared a contagious joy.

Dès le matin, les élèves se sont mobilisés pour transformer le lycée. Décorations minutieuses, détails soignés, chaque espace a été pensé pour refléter notre culture et notre créativité. Le résultat ? Un cadre festif qui a immédiatement plongé tout le monde dans l’ambiance.

Plongée au cœur des traditions / A Journey into Tradition
Imaginez un décor où le parfum du café fraîchement moulu se mêle à la douceur sucrée de la canne à sucre. Les tambours résonnent au loin, rappelant les rythmes d’antan, tandis que trône fièrement la bonne vieille balance à fruits de Manman Lili, témoin silencieux des marchés d’autrefois.
À côté, un encrier patiné par le temps et des feuilles de thé séchées racontent des histoires de partage et de convivialité. Chaque objet, qu’il s’agisse d’un moulin à café ou d’un simple féy dité, est une passerelle vers notre héritage culturel.
Nos enseignants n’ont pas hésité à confier leurs trésors familiaux pour offrir aux élèves une immersion unique « an tan lontan », où tradition et mémoire se rencontrent.
Imagine a setting where the aroma of freshly ground coffee mingles with the sweet taste of sugarcane. Drums echo in the distance, recalling rhythms of the past, while the old fruit scale from Grandma Lili proudly stands as a silent witness to the markets of yesteryear. Nearby, a timeworn inkwell and dried tea leaves tell stories of sharing and conviviality. Each object—whether a coffee grinder or a simple tea leaf—is a bridge to our cultural heritage. Our teachers didn’t hesitate to share their most precious traditional treasures, allowing students to experience a true immersion in the world of “long ago.

Au-delà des looks, c’est l’esprit collectif qui a marqué cette journée. Élèves, personnels et enseignants ont joué le jeu, prouvant que la tradition peut être revisitée avec fun et modernité.
Les objectifs n’ont pas chômé : des clichés magnifiques immortalisent cette journée. Tenues éclatantes, coiffures originales, instants de complicité… chaque photo est une pépite qui met en avant la richesse et la diversité de notre patrimoine.

Cette journée exceptionnelle a pris vie grâce à l’engagement de nos enseignants, qui ont généreusement partagé avec les élèves un véritable moment chargé d’histoire qui a apporté une touche d’authenticité et de mémoire, plongeant chacun dans l’ambiance chaleureuse d’antan. Et pour immortaliser ce moment avec des photos symboliques venues refléter l’union entre élèves et les équipes, preuve que la tradition se vit et se transmet ensemble.
Nos dames du service administratif, rayonnantes dans leurs tenues colorées et leurs sourires lumineux, ont ajouté une note de convivialité, rappelant que cette journée est avant tout une fête partagée par toute la communauté scolaire.
Un immense merci à notre équipe de vie scolaire, véritable pilier de notre établissement. Toujours présente et investie, elle accompagne nos élèves avec énergie et bienveillance, partageant rires, émotions et réussites. Son implication inspire les jeunes à se dépasser, à croire en eux et à donner le meilleur d’eux-mêmes.
This exceptional day came to life thanks to the dedication of our teachers, who generously shared a truly historic moment with the students, adding a touch of authenticity and remembrance, immersing everyone in the warm atmosphere of yesteryear. To immortalize this moment, symbolic photos were taken, reflecting the unity between students and staff, proof that tradition is lived and passed on together. Our administrative staff, radiant in their colorful outfits and bright smiles, added a touch of conviviality, reminding everyone that this day is above all a celebration shared by the entire school community. A huge thank you to our student life team, a true pillar of our school. Always present and committed, they support our students with energy and kindness, sharing laughter, emotions, and successes. Their involvement inspires young people to excel, to believe in themselves, and to give their very best.
Un grand merci à nos chefs d’établissement qui, une fois de plus, ont su faire confiance aux élèves et aux équipes pour donner vie à cette magnifique journée. Notre proviseur, élégant dans son plus beau veston, et notre proviseure adjointe, rayonnante dans sa broderie anglaise, ont incarné avec panache l’esprit de la fête. Ce fut aussi l’occasion pour le proviseur de partager avec nous ses talents d’antan… un moment complice et mémorable qui a renforcé encore davantage le lien entre direction, enseignants et élèves.
A huge thank you to our school leaders who, once again, placed their trust in the students and staff to bring this magnificent day to life. Our headmaster, elegant in his finest jacket, and our deputy headmistress, radiant in her eyelet embroidery, embodied the spirit of the celebration with panache. It was also an opportunity for the headmaster to share his past talents with us… a heartwarming and memorable moment that further strengthened the bond between administration, teachers, and students.
