It tells us about the difficulties that some children have to cope with to go to school. We follow the experiences of four teenagers : Samuel ((and his two brothers ; Zahira ,her sister and a friend of hers ; Jackson and his sister ; Carlos and his sister, Micaela.

They take one to four hours (Zahira) to go to school. It’s a very long, difficult and dangerous road to school for those children. For example, there are elephants on Jackson’s road to school. The teacher even thanks God when there are no accidents. Carlos and his sister can fall as well because they ride along a slope. Samuel  is in a wheelchair and his two brothers help him to go to school because he is disabled.

Those difficulties do not discourage them.  It is the only way for them to get education and get out of poverty to be able to fulfill their dreams or help people who are in identical situations. Jackson wants to be a pilot. Carlos wants to become a vet. Samuel wants to be a doctor like Zahira ; this latter also wants to help girls to study.

In our opinion, these teenagers are very brave. They are poorer than us : there is no public transportation or school bus, their schools don’t have as many equipments as our schools have. They are always motivated even if they risk their lives.

They never complain.

They keep going whatever the difficulties.
